eft for Depression

Hey there!

I’m so excited for this EFT video to empower you to decrease the depression that is present in your life. Watch the video, stop it, rewind it, play it, etc. This is your video, use it as much as will benefit you.  I want you to get all of the benefit from it that you can.

I’ve also included the transcripts from the EFT portions of the video. I’m much more of a visual or kinesthetic learner. So watching video’s is not typically effective for me. I want to make sure that you can get all of the benefit out of this that you can!

Depression EFT Script:

On a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being that your belief feels totally true how true does the statement “I just feel depressed” feel?

Write down that number on a piece of paper so that we can refer to it later.

Karate Chop: Even though I can’t make this depression leave for good, I deeply love and accept myself
Eyebrow: I’m not worthy of true happiness
Side of eye: I know I’m always going to be depressed
Under eye: I notice everything that is wrong. Every flaw
Under nose: I feel like my brain is working against me. I don’t want to be depressed
Chin: Why can I be someone or something else? Why can’t I not be depressed
Collarbone: This is so unfair
Under arm: I’ve tried everything. I’m never going to get better
Top of Head: This is the story I’ve been telling myself…for so long. This is my reality.

Put your hand on your heart, take a deep breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth and repeat after me: I forgive my brain for being depressed. I forgive myself for experiencing depression, I am doing the best I know how.

On a scale of 0 to 10, with 10 being that your belief feels totally true how true does the statement “I just feel depressed” feel?  When that feeling of not being able to shake the depression  is down to a 5 move on:

Karate Chop: Even though I am only in the beginning stages of inviting deep happiness and joy into my life,  I deeply love and accept myself
Eyebrow: My brain is amazingly powerful
Side of eye: I am choosing to create room for happiness and joy
Under eye: Every day I see my depression evaporating away
Under nose: I am doing all the right things
Chin: I am giving myself the love and support to thrive
Collar bone: I am creating internal and external support for myself
Under arm: I am worthy of being free from depression!
Top of head: I am grateful that I can see the progress I’ve made on this journey

I’d love for you to play with this several times a day for a few days. Remember to not get caught up in the words that you are using. Trust yourself, that’s part of the magic of the process.

As always let me know if you have any questions!

Keep busting the Shame,

Jenn
